Record The Singing Dunes at Altyn-Emel National Park

Even though this wilderness is usually associated with its wildlife, it is also the land of the famous singing sand dunes, forests, mountains and rare animals on land, almost twice the size of Luxemburg. When the wind from the west hits the sands at just the right angle, you’ll hear a beautiful cacophony of vibrations, unreal and surreal at the same time, that echoes across millenia. Scientists suggest friction electrifies the sand in dry hot weather to create the mysterious vibration.
